I have a 2003 GMC Crew Cab 4X4 with the duramax diesel. It has every option with the exception of the DVD player mounted on the roof liner. I checked with the dealer, but they want $1,900, which seems high. Who would you recommend that would have a nice unit that would mount similar to the factory units?
Thanks
Jeff

Update your sig so we can all see where you are and what truck you are working with. Any of circuit city, best buy, local independant should be able to do this for you. It will definitely be expensive and also depend on what you want. I could do it for you if you live anywhere near me. Hope this helps.

Sorry,I don't have any pictures for this. I just had an over head 8" Fuma flipdown, Blaunpunkt DVD player, 400watt inverter, RF modulator, and 2-wireless head phones installed and it was only $600.00. I really wouldn't go with the dealer, way over priced. Go with any of your stereo shops. I'm very happy with the unit and so are the kids.:)

Pure Diesel, Where did you find all of that for $600? Sounds like an excellent deal.
Thanks for the replies and I updated my profile to include where I live.

you can run a farenheight monitor on top pic up an inverter from the parts store and run a dvd player. If for the kids run a 7" flip down wired into a ps2 or xbox so you get the best of both worlds with an inverter. Or you can do the 12v dvd playes this should run you around for the moniter and stuff less than 1000 easily. If you were in FL I could get you hooked up.

From what I understand Delphi makes the Factory DVD. At Good guys, they sell Delphi and I had one put in my truck installed for just under 600 bucks. Looks good and the DVD player is where it belongs: above the monitor. The kids love it and I love the quiet kids!

Have you thought of headrest monitors? You can get them now with integrated DVD players...
Thought about getting Vizualogics a while back....they are pretty cool! Talk to BlueOx03 or BassinRver about them.....
