I replaced my OEM Leaf Springs for a pair of 6' Atlas Leaf Springs. The OEM springs were on blocks and the springs were cracked/separating (Prior Post). I have a 6' Pro Comp Lift Kit that has been lowered (Wife's request/Dont ask). I asked Pro Comp and Atlas which spring would replace my OEM's and they said the 6' ---- well I installed them and the back is definitely jacked up 2' too high!

QUES: look at my pics, can I remove the metal piece that the leaf springs are sitting on or do I have to re-order the 4" springs? Any Help would be appreciated.

I dont beleive that you should remove that piece. If you are talking about the piece that sits ontop the axle under the leafs, that is where the leafs lock into right? I beleive your leafs would be more prone to move around if you took it off. I'm no pro so dont rely on my advise, but I'm just assuming your gonna be buying different leafs. S****y deal man but hopefully someone else will chime in and tell you different.

You could run a 2 inch drop shackle.

you can't remove that metal piece that is on the axle. It hold the leafs in place on the axle. Order new springs or get 2" lowering shackles.

If atlas told you that you needed 6in lift springs call them and tell them the truck is to high in the rear.
How long have they been in there?

that is the spring mount/ perch, and can not remove that. Call Atlas and tell them what the problem is.
