My truck suddenly went into limp mode yesterday IE it would not rev over 2000 RPM. I have an edge juice on there.

I cycled the ingnition several times and it was still in limp mode.

I disconnected the edge juice and it seems to be back to normal.

Should I plug the juice back in?

has this ever happened before to anyone??

I have to tow a heavy trailer this weekend and the juice really seems to help it alot.

This is not a transmission thread. It is engine related.

You have set a P1093 code. Do a search on P1093 and you will have lots of reading.

You can plug the edge back in and you will be fine until the next time it does it again. All you need to do to reset it shut the truck off for a few minutes or use a code reader to clear the code.

All current performance enhancers do it. For now we just have to live with it.
