I updated the tuner just now but not the truck yet, anyone else notice how it says the update is 2.44 on the site but the actual files and tuner say 2.43 after updating, little leary about updating the truck since truck runs great except the speed limiter wasn't removed which I'm hoping this update fixes, what was the previous tune, 2.42 for example or what?

Thanks

well nevermind on the 2.44 thing, i went to the site myself and navigated to the update and redownloaded it and all is well, i updated the truck as well, i will test the speed limiter later, i know a bunch of people had this problem and you had to send it in for a fix but now hopefully the online update fixed it.

anyone else notice after the update that up to about 120 degrees coolant temp, the engine sounds different from just a little above idle rpms to say about 1000 rpm, after about 120 degrees, it sounds the same

I noticed the new update included exhaust rumble all the way up to 1000rpm, instead of that stock vacume cleaner sound...

Web site says to call for download support on Race versions, anybody know what that's about or have you just downloaded it on your own.

Perhaps you misread? All I see is if your uncomfortable doing the update your self you can call and send in the tuner or something. But whatever it means you can just Download and do the update your self

Updated mine today. Seems to be a bit more boost but everything else seems the same. Time will tell I guess.

My HOT 2 ET has 6 levels for LMM and level six is 300 HP. We need to call PPE and find out wtf.

Now that i think bout it, u say you have hot 2, not the hot 2 race? Maybe this has something to do with it.

called tech support today and they said it was just for when the dealers updated trucks and the tuner would not work anymore. No more fuel or power levels is what he said. Maybe Dan knows the ins and outs of course and can chime in.

dans assistant ''bob'' said 300hp is the most for lmm, it must be a typo on the web site!!
