I have a 2004 2500HD, and I'm about to get new shocks. My question is will my stock shocks fit on my Dad's 2001 3500 Duramax, or is it a different shock? He doesn't mind the stock shocks, so I would just give them to him if they would work. Thanks!

The front shocks are the same #....the rears are different from the 2500HD to 3500
