When my sister-in-law tried to start my brother's truck the gauges went nuts and the seats moved on their own and the truck seemed to turn over very slowly. Now it just clicks and wont spin the starter even when being jumped. Anyone have any ideas, they live a few hours from the nearest dealership.

I would first check the cables and see if there is a short, sounds like it may have gounded the system out. second try charging the batts when they are disconected

I have had pack rats get in my vehicles and chew enough wires to cause that sort of thing. If it was fine one day and this happened all of a sudden it may very well be critter related. Check for frayed wires or tell tale chew marks.
