Yes on LMM based you need to reprogram the ECM to disable DPF regen. Now to let you know once you alter the ECM the tune you add calibration number is recorded by the ECM. It records the last 10 different ECM tune differences. So the thing is can you afford fixing the engine transmission if you damage them. Example you take it in for throwing limp mode code on transmission. One of the things they do is pull up this list. photogragh it and send it to GM. If it contains non GM calibrations then they void your warranty.

But to go turbo back then remove DPF and Cat and run exhaust out. Reprogram with the ECM with PPE Hot ++2 Race, Edge Evo Race, Quad with DPF tunes downloaded on to it. Or EFILive can do it as well. No way to fake the DPF with resisters or other electronics.
