i just did dpf and cat delete used efilive from socaldiesel. everything good for a hundred miles then clean exhaust filter popped up.should i not have installed all four sensors on the delete pipe? or is the efi responsible for shutting that off? will i go into limp mode soon? when i dropped the tune in again it stopped then this morning popped up again immediatelly.

i'd check the tune...if there is no more dpf the computer must still be seeing it and thinking it is pluged up

do you instal all four sensors back on the dfp delete. or is this a tune issue?

maybe if you take a waterhose and rinse your dpf out whereever it might be laying at this point your light will shut off..:D

It is tune related. I have socaldiesel take care of it. They may have forgot to turn off the DPF or disable some of the DTCs. If you want to attempt it yourself then download the tune off the truck. Save and then open it. Look in Engine Operations. Then you will see DPF. Select it to show Parmeters. Double click it and see if the first value is no and the next is 0. then goto the Engine diagnostics stuff and select DTC enables and double click that. Go down the list to find stuff on DPF Regen or similiar name and set to X Not Reported No Mil. Save tune as different name. Close EFILive. Reopen and load the saved new name tune and upload.

You will want to adjust the tables under boost control. The tables on turbo vane target position rpm from 300 to 1000 and 0 to say 15 mm3. Set those sections to 10.0.

When you open that it is the name of the table going across. The mm3 runs up and down. I see I have 40 in my tune so this give you example for the 6 related tables.

That must be the mindset and nervousness of a person that is about to void the warranty on a $50K truck! :o:
