What do you run your rear tires at when empty? What about the front? Keep it near 80ish since it always has the motor to carry? I will not be towing for about a year.

If I want a better ride for a trip with others on board I run 65 and 35. Otherwise, 70 and 40 for a little better mileage.

Based on the attached chart and weighing my truck. This isn't the same tire I run but I use it as a guide only.

Wow, 35 seems really low. How does it ride, softer? I see the Michelin does say 35 to. Now to find a way to drop the rear tire pressure, conveniently. Got new dually rockstar rims, love em, but cannot fit my hand through the rim anymore and the valve doesn't line up with outer rim holes either. Maybe I need to rotate on lug at a time to see if I can find a better position.

Rides much softer over the small sharp bumps. I figure there isn't much weight and it's supported by four tires. Some cars weigh what our back ends do empty and they run around at 35 on four tires.

I go between the tires to change pressure, but I have spacers too.

did it seem to hurt your mileage at all?

50 front, 50 -55 rear empty on the stock 245 tires. It is 100% better than bouncing on the 80psi when I'm empty.

I think it cost me ~1 mpg but to me it's worth it. It makes way more difference than Velvet Rides and it's free, well almost.

I run 65 in the front and 80 in the rears. I pull a 5th wheel a lot and I don't like airing up and down, so I leave it in the "tow mode". I also have Bilsteins so I really have a smooth ride loaded or unloaded.

For the 99 Do_g_ I would run the front at 50 and the rears at 60.

I didn't think you're supposed to run 80 psi on a dually.
I know the E rated tires on the 2500 are supposed to run 80, but I thought the dually was 65.

I run 75 front and 40 rear and wear pattern is perfect unloaded.Pump rears to 55 when towing and up to 80 when fully loaded with over 4k lbs of rock. I have 265/75/16 E.

I run 70 in the front and 65 in the rear unless I am pulling the camper and loaded for bear then I run 70 in the rear.
