Also known as Clyde at West Coast Diesel Performance in Lake Elsinore, CA.
I had a bunch of overdue maintenance taken care of that I just didn't have time to do. He also hooked me up with a great deal on a MBRP 4" stainless exhaust and a sweet pillar mount for my Attitude monitor. Quality work, done on time. He even ran it over to the local Chevy dealer and walked it through some warranty issues that needed attention.
Lake Elsinore is really not too far from just about anywhere in SoCal, and Clyde's shop is just off the highway. If you also need some warranty issues handled, the Chevy dealer there seems to be fairly mod-friendly, if you know what I mean. ;) They also know Clyde well and if he says there's a problem with something and it should be warrantied, the Service advisor listens to him, cause they know, that he knows what the heck he's talkin' about.
It's worth the drive to get great service.
Give this guy a call if you need anything.
(951) 674-5122
Thanks again Clyde.

Met him at J&D SoCal Dyno Day on 3/05/05. Going to see him as soon he gets my MBRP stainless front pipe in. He knows his GMs. GREAT GUY :ro)

You'll like that front pipe. I just had him do the whole thing at once, so I'm not sure how much the exhaust alone would bring down the EGT's. I do know that with the cat removed and the full 4" system, I'm down a minimum of 100 degrees in all situations. It's usually down over 150 degrees unless I'm really, really on it. Not too loud either.

Ya, looking forward to it. You never know, might pick up some "other" products from him when I'm there.

BTW Gar, put your truck description and set-ups in your signature. Helps people here in case you have a problem.

You're not supposed to use 10" furnace ducting from Home Depot to make an exhaust. :D
There's a post about it somewhere.
Clyde will fix you right up.

I live in Murrieta and have been reading good things about Clyde in different forums for about a month. Just got my 2500 4WD D/A SB in April. have 4000 miles on it and thought I would run up there and check it out. I now have a new mechanic and after market advisor. WOW Clyde is one friendly guy. Left with the filters I needed for the first oil change some so cal diesel stickers and he even gave me a couple T-Shirts. Best of all he knows his Chevy’s and Isuzu motors. He took the time out of his day just to shoot the **** with me and lay out the ground work for what order I should follow in mods to fit my budget. I guess its time to take a second out on the house now. If I could just get the wife on board........ Anyway Clyde is the real deal. If you own the D/A you owe it to your self to go meet him.

Hey Guys, I'm also very happy with the work Clyde did for me. By the way, Clyde installed a BD exhaust brake on my LLY and I'm very happy with it. Also left his shop with new air system and underbed mounted truck, not train!, horns. --wheeler
