If there was a way to run 100% SVO would this be an interesting option? What would a gallon of SVO (soy etc) cost compared to Diesel fuel? Here in Europe SVO is about 40% less than Diesel therefore there is a high interest in converting Diesel vehicles to SVO.
Let me know your opinion.

I run it in my 6.2. It works well so far. Like guybb3 says, you just need to pre heat the SVO. I have a race car oil cooler that I run hot water through that I use as a heat exchanger.
You are lucky that SVO is cheaper than diesel where you are at. Where I live SVO price is double diesel. But I 'm using used waste cooking oil (WVO)that I get for free from a local restaurant.
If SVO was 40% leass than diesel, I would definately buy it instead of going through the trouble and hassle of picking up and filtering old WVO.

I've been running 100% SVO in my 6.5 TD for the last 9 months or so and accumulated 23000 miles. On my last tank of diesel (10.3 gallons) I went 1795 miles!! No problems towing or otherwise. I typically am getting 17-18 mpg @65 mph on the interstate.
