I put 6 new BFG AT KO's on my truck with 56,698 miles, now it has 64,073 miles a total of 7,375 miles on these tire's. The driver's side steering tire is wearing on the inside but the passenger side looks fine. Could this be a issue with my truck or should I give discount tire a call?

It's your truck. Have the front end alignment checked and ask to have the ball joints and wheel bearing checked.

I figure it was my truck, but from what I have heard these tires wear funny sometimes.

depends on what size BFG you put on and on what wheel...if its a stock wheel bigger tires have been known to wear funny due to the wheel being to small for the oversized tire...but if they are stock size or even 265's i would think about an alignment and you ball joints

The tires are 235/85/16 (stock size) I think, mounted on stock wheels.

Mine did the same thing and found out my pitman arm was wasted. jack it up so the tires are off the ground and see if ya have any play in the steering.

Ok looking at the front tires again and the rear both front tire's look worn out on both inside and outside. As if they are worn around the edges or have like a rounded off look to them due to the steering back and forth.

Check tire inflation, sounds like they're under-inflated to me.

I have been checking pressure often and don't think this is the problem.
The rear's have a more squared off look to them verses the front have a rounded off look.

It's time to rotate them and have your alignment checked.

That is a classic characteristic of under inflation, and if you add in hard cornering, it gets even worse. Are these "E" rated, and what pressure are you running at?

If it were just the inside or just the ouside i would agree, but I'm not sure how your alignment would cause both to where... unless there is seriously something jacked up and its causing the tires to wobble?

Ok i had the truck checked out by the local Firestone tec. He said the wear on the inside and outside on both steering tires was caused by steering not a alignment, or ball joint issue. All they said was rotate them and call it good.
