looking for some pics of the new body style duallys with mud flaps. I really dont like flaps but thinking they may be needed with the new truck, espcially on the front to keep from throwing stuff at the rear fenders. Any suggestions?

I ask that question back a few months ago and everyone praised the duraflaps so i ordered a set they are a little overpriced but they will be there when the truck has rusted down. oh and buy the way they are very easy to clean just a little soap and water and they look brand new.I had the molded plastic ones on my dodge and after a few months they started to fade so i had to armorall them every time i cleaned them i think they were the husky brand

I don't think I have any pics left of mine while they was on. I'll have to look back thur some threads. But I had the molded plastic ones from Chevrolet front and back. The rears had the bowtie. I liked em but they wouldn't work with the fender flares so I gave em to a memeber on here.

I have duraflaps on all 4 corners of my dually, was VERY upset in the 1/16" of rain a few weeks ago, the rear fenders were covered in road crap... The front flaps are ~3 or 4 inches off the ground, I guess they are high enough not to be ripped off on a curb, but they don't keep the fenders clean.. The sides of the truck (other then the front of the rear fenders) were clean.

I love my Duraflaps, over priced but does great job on the red clay around here. There is no flaps out there that will keep all the mud off, and look good doing it, but Duraflaps comes close. These type use the factory holes, no drilling.

Do the factroy units use the stock holes like the duraflap or do you have to make new ones?
