recently my truck started acting funny after shifting into 4th gear, almost like it was kind of cutting out but the engine rpms never dropped, once it hits 5th gear it feels like its wanting to drop out of gear then trying to go back in. it shifts fine and runs fine all they way up until about 45mph, i have called numerous dealerships and allison shops and no one could tell me anything, I was not sure on where to post this sorry if it is in the wrong spot. and the truck is an lb7

ok i pulled it into the garage and found that the transfer case is spilt, with about 3 inches of play in the driveshaft, So does anyone have an extra transfer case?

Can't help with the T-case....but when you do find one call MikeL and get one of these braces.

Thanks, I think what happend was the pump rub?? Theres a hole in the transfer case it must have leaked all the fluid out, and i didnt catch it in time, Looks like a bomb went off inside it..
