How do I find out if my truck has a tune and what kind it is, if it has one at all.

If there isn't one there, then have someone with EFILive read your ECU, they could tell you if it's stock. The dealer could do that with a Tech2, but it would most likely be expensive. Some programs lock the ECU, so if you can't read the ECU, then it probably has a tune. I am not sure if you can flash over a locked ECU, or if you have to either get the code or buy a new one. Your issue suggests a communication problem that won't be fixed by replacing the ECM. First point of call would be to check the cig fuse. Cheers Cindy jocww 10-06-2009, 07:50 PM cig fuse? Is this under the hood or under the dash? cig short for cig lighter? If its the cigar one under the hood that is 15amp the fuse is good.
