Where is the drain plug for the t-case and where exactly is the t-case located. I know this is probably a stupid question.:)

What exactly are you planning to do to the T-Case?

If you don't know where it is, and where the drain plug is, you shouldn't be under there.

Drain procedure is usually listed in the manual and IIRC it has an accompanying photo of the transfer case.

Transfer case is the metal gearbox looking thingy located where the back of the front wheel driveshaft (4X4) ends.

Oh come on now Lawnboy, we all have to start somewhere.
The transfer case is the item that your rear driveline and front driveline are attached to. It is also the piece that is connected to the rear of the transimission.
The plugs on the transfer case are two identical plugs that are distinctive to the on other bolts on the case. The filler plug is approx in the middle facing the back of the unit and the drain plug is on the lowest point also facing toward the back.
This should be the case for just about any transfer case.
It not hard to change the fluid in there, but I would get a hand pump for this operation at any parts store. It can be a lttle messy with the cross member in the way.

Are you planning on changing or checking the fluid in there?

There's fluid in a T-Case?

I'm planning on doing an oil change. I've got 20,000 miles on her and thought it was time I do it. Thanks

Yes, it is.....

There are no stupid questions, just...... ahh...nevermind.

Maybe you meant to say WHERE on the T-Case is the oil drain and fill plugs?

If you didn't know WHERE the T-Case itself is, how were you going to change the fluid in it?
