I recently bought an 8' Iriquois dump box and an '84 2wd crew cab dually (not "working", just plopped on the frame). It has a 4 speed stick, but I'd like to install the dump on a 4x4 dually. Maybe on a square body, or maybe '94ish. How does one power up the cylinder? Can it be done from a 700R4? 5 speed? Does it have to be factory built with a pto "hole" like a Cummins 5 speed I just saw? :help:

4X4 have a pto plate on the transfer case so the pto can go there.
Most stick tranny have the pto plate too.

Just need to make sure u get the right gear inside the pto because the pto mount is the same (there is 2 sizes of mounts small & large hole).

You could also use an electric pump.
