I have a 2009 Chevy 3500 4wd (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3500589#) that I'm trying to improve the ride on. The truck seems very STIFF. The only time It rides good, is with about 2000lbs in the back. The font and back feel equally stiff. I've had several duallys, but this one rides the worst.
The truck (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3500589#) has the Cognito UCA leveling kit, and BFG All Terrains 285/70/17 Load Range E. The torsion bars are cranked a good ways up, but I still have over an inch between the control arm and bump stops. I'm assuming that puts me in the "green sone", but I'm not certain. The ride DID get worse after the leveling kit and tires.
I've been thinking about going with Bilsteins, or the Sulastic shackles. I just don't want to spens my money if I can't signicifantly improve the ride. I really like how my old 2003 Ford (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3500589#) Dually seemed to just float down the road.
Any input?
Thank,
Jay
