Will deleting the cat make any performance improvements on its own? I am specifically looking for better mileage especially while towing.

The cat is the most restrictive part of the exhaust. A tuner and exhaust usually help mileage 2-3. The best bang for the buck (Under $90.00) so far has been the LBZ MP. Not only did I see an improvement with towing, I also have less fan activity....I did also install a TCAI airbox as well. The only benefit is lower EGT's, I saw no performance gain and no gain in fuel mileage, the stock muffler is the most restrictive component on the exhaust system not the cat. | ||
