Will need new tires in a couple of months, stock Generals now, 215/85 on 04 3500 cab/chassis with utility body. Have been waiting on post concerning clearance between rear tires when upgrading to taller and larger tires to no avail. I want 265/75's or 70's with E rating. How much spacer do I need? Vendors for spacers? Any other alternatives?
This truck works daily and no compromise on weight rating is considered, never know when you might need to tow a F*rd from the job site.):h

You will need spacers that's for sure.Anything under 2" you will have to cut stock studs.

Fred seems like a good guy and the way he makes his adapters (hub-centric) gives me a good level of comfort as far as safety and durability.

On Edit: I forgot to mention, these adapters ain't cheap....couple hundred dollars.....

I have a set of Fred Goeske Spacers ,as far as I researched his are the best and strongest , I have e rated 245X70r16 LTX.MS Mich. Haul real fast and heavy alot NO problems ,they are a little extra fat in the spacing but plenty of room for sidewall flex. BTW this set up is on the 4sale section /Weld Evo dually wheels.
