I just recently purchased and edge/attitude combo. I found two different overhead mounts, one from ATS for $65 and one from socaldiesel for $125. Whats the big difference. They look the same to me. Also, do I need longer cables? I noticed a thread saying the pyro cable was not long enough. Any input?

You'll probably need an extension if you mount it up there. The pyro cable attaches to the Edge box, its the Attitude cable that needs to be longer.

Edge is making the cables longer now, and it will reach if it is newer box. Otherwise, there is a three foot extension available.

That explains why I have a huge coil under the dash.

So is there a general concensus that the cable that comes with the system is too short? I am not buying the system new. I am getting it from a fellow dp member.

The one from SoCal Diesel is angled toward the driver so you can actually see it while your driving, then recessed for a clean stealthy look. The pictures at www.socaldiesel.com (http://www.socaldiesel.com)
are from the driver view. I should probably supplement them with straight on views/pictures from the back seat so you get a better idea of the angle.
