Starts hard runs like new won't restart most of the time after you shut it off 3/4 warmed up! When I try to start it cold the glow pulgs won't cycle most of the time but some times they will so I can start it! This is a 1994 6.5 non-turbo with 192,217 miles the PMD was replaced with a remote heat sink that gets real warm but runs, It has a mechanical lift pump no electric fuel pump. My oil pressure gage doesn't move I'm thinking Oil Pressure Switch? Code 14 I think I will replace the temp sensor to get the glow plugs to cycle. If that doesn't work I will replace the new NAPA glow plug controler! I think the Injection pump might be bad too because it starts hard and it doesn't want to start 3/4 operating temp? Can you please give me some help on this? I'm new to the electronic controled injection.....Thanks!...Simon6.5#1.

IMO,first thing to check is fuel press (4-6 psi idle)teed in at the IP inlet(best place)or at the T-valve.
replace IP return line with a clear hose and observe for air bubbles when running ,one bubble in the top of hose is normal after shut down. overnight sitting should still show fuel in the IP side of the hose.
