2007 classic LBZ no engine mods, 26k miles, change fuel filter message was present for last week or two. I changed the fuel filter 5k miles ago but did not reset the computer I guess. Would ignoring that message for a few weeks make the CEL come on? Truck runs fine, sounds fine.

Still under warranty by about 2 weeks on the original factory bumper to bumper, al;so have extended warranty through GM, but can an Autozone or Advanced Auto parts do a code check? I am out of town with my truck and have no time to go to the dealer this week.

Well it was the EGR code. My dealer replaced the EGR motor and re-flashed my truck with what is the latest and greatest I guess.

While in I also got the newest steering shaft upgrade. My clunk is actually finally gone.
