Couldn't take the pizza cutters anymore so at 17K, I replaced them with 265/75 BFG All Terrains. Looks much better and the truck rides better too. One of the wheels has 4.5 ounces of weight on the outside in order to balance the tire. That seems excessive (not to mention looks like crap). Are these tires that hard to balance? Thanks!

I use these as well and have heard they are hard to balance... have the weights put on the inside.

Yes....I have 285's that were mounted on two different sets of wheels and both times a lot of weights were used. On my last set, I had the tire shop use stick on weights on the front of the rims just to get them to balance. It looks like crap but it's a lot smoother than before. BFG never again......

I asked them to use the stick on weights on the inside of the rim and they didn't do it. I was going to have them rebalance the wheels as I had instructed them to when I noticed they damaged one of my rims. So, they are buying me a new wheel and I won't let them touch them again! It's always something... Thanks!
