I am planning on putting a lift pump on my truck but the truck is an 87 chevy with an 01 duramax motor and the truck was originally a fuel injected gas. I am using the stock gas tank and was wondering if the stock fuel pump in the tank would be good enough for a lift pump or doesn't it put out enough psi/gph.:confused:

I am not sure what max pressure is on that, but when regulated with the TBI it was 13 psi. Not sure what people are running for lift pump pressure. Also have to watch the volume, it may not move enough fuel. I would probably go with one of the pumps that everyone else is using. Diesel being a little heavier may wear a stock gasoline pump out.
