I had a Transfer flow tank and FASS pump installed on my truck about 5 months ago. The other day my wife called to tell me the truck wouldn't run like it was out of fuel. I stopped and got a few gallons on my way and dumped them. Still no start, went and got a few more gallons and it finally lit. We went about a mile up the road and filled it up,only took 30 gallons. I figured with what I put in the tank that left around 10 gallons in the tank when it "ran out of fuel". Did the installer do something wrong with the sending unit and pick-up? I also noticed when I was trying to get the truck to prime the FASS pump wasn't running, the only time it would run was when you locked and unlocked the doors. Didn't even start running once the truck was started. Where should the FASS get it's power so I can see if that's correct? On a side not I also noticed the truck doesn't run very well lately(last month or so),kinda lazy on power and not as smooth as before.

I have the 56 gal TransferFlow for the LongBed. I usually fuel @ 1/2 tank, takes ~30 gal. I've never ran it out of fuel. The most fuel I have put in is ~45 gal @ 1/4 tank. Never had any problems.

The FASS should run anytime the key is on. At least that is how my buddys FASSed D-max is setup.
