Holy crapola. This is becoming a nightmare. My cd player took a S**t and I want to install a new radio in it. I have XM and really don't listen to much else other than Chris Ledoux on cd.

The more I look into it, the more I have to buy. Adapters, kits, etc, etc. WTF? Has anyone wired one in without all the garbage? I don't want/need and hate that damn door chime anyway. I did find out that even if I buy the stereo I want, I still have to buy the Sat. radio kit. I was told that you can splice into the factory antenna, is this true?

Is there an easy way to do this? It's an 05.

check e-bay for the same unit. It will cost another $50 to $100 to have your VIN programed into to make it work.

you will need the proper tuner i think i paid 70 bucks for my last one not really expensive
