lol thats about it

I got 285s back in early dec and rasied the torision bars...

in late january bow inner tie rods broke in half on both sides

replaced them and everything has went bad since... i got it realined and went to the dragstrip mid march and a guy the sales diesel parts around here was up there and told me that everytime i used 4 wheel drive my tires pulled in and squaled which i knew thay squaled but didnt really know whyy... he told me to lower my torision bars so i did all the way went to get it aligned and the guy said i had a bad left front bearing(hub) that and my front a-arm bumpers where on the a-arm...

I got my friend to look at it at school while i was at work cause they got a lift at school and his teacher said my outer tierods were worn.

I fixed my replaced my outer tierods and my left hub... when i was at one of the dealerships they said my truck was to low so i rasied it up half way so i went from all the way up to all the way down to abvout half way up and got it aligned

they said my bumpers were still on the a-arm and then i went to look at some stock 2500HDs where there torsion bar bolts where and i set mine to that which lowered it alittle bit so i had to get it realigned well in the mean time i heard another damn click noise and knockin noise and when i got it aligned they looked at it and figured it was my cv axel joints which aint that bad there alittle worn from raiseing it all the way and lowerin it all the way...

Im gonna take some pictures of the bumpers and how high my front suspenion is and i was wanting to get yalls imput so i can get it back to stock height and ride quality... i want the suspenion stock until i got some money to do a full suspenion system(which is gonna be awhile because everything is messin up)

My truck is brand new... 1342 miles anyway... still a virgin in the suspension department, and my front lower A arms are on the tan looking bumpers. What gives? Maybe it's supposed to be like that?!? Sorry I can't help you, but I'm sure someone who knows will chime in...

I have mine cranked up & alittle room under bump stops

for changing the height all the time, set it at what you want for usual driving. when you go to the track lower them & return to height that you had before after racing.

The bumpers are actually part of the front suspension, to stop it from bottoming harshly. It is supposed to touch them. Many guys crank it up so it doesn't though.

All GM front independent suspensions use the bump stop as part of the suspension. Yes the bump stops are suppose to touch the A-arms. Most people like to raise the front suspensions to level the trucks out, when you do this you get a gap between the bump stop and the A-arm.
