Anyone know off hand which direction the coolant flows through the egr cooler? Does it run through the heatercore first or after ? I could figure it out but it :cool:makes a mess, so thought someone has to know. I removed my egr sometime back and should have checked it then. Hook a brother up?

I'm not positive, but I believe it flows:

thermostat housing > EGR cooler > Heater Core > back to radiator

And, I've seen a post that said this flow was not through the thermostats?

I also copied this from a post on coolant flow:

"Cold start, both t-stats closed, coolant pumps to oil filter-flywheel houseing cross over-block-heads-EGR and heater core @ 26GPM."
