I know it's nothing special compared to some of the wheels you guys run, but I just wanted something a little taller to fill up the wheel well, and a little wider. I picked up a set of new (take offs) wheels today.

I got all 4 center caps too, but just out of curiosity installed one of my old center caps on one wheel.

I'm not sure yet, but I think I like the old center caps on the new wheels. The only problem is the plastic decorative nuts that screw onto the lugs are too short on the old ones. I've been able to pop the longer plastic nuts out of the new center caps, but haven't had much luck getting the shorter ones out of the old center caps, short of breaking the plastic.

What do you think?

I also like the wider stance of the new tires. Look like the truck just got tougher.

There are little plastic lugs sticking off the caps on the side that hits the rim. I just cut those off when I mounted the 08 takeoffs onto mine. Worked great! I like the GMC rims better than my Chevy's, but I got them now.
