I tried posting this in another forum and never really got the answer that I was after. I was hoping that someone who works at a dealership could answer this question for me. Do the used trucks depreciate in value at approximately the same time that the new model year comes out? For ex., will the price for a used '03 go down as soon as the '06s hit the lot. I ask because I will be buying a used Dmax about the same time that the new model year comes out. Also, if I do buy a truck that the original 3/36K mile warranty has expired on, what will it take to get the GM warranty back on the truck. I hope that I haven't asked you to violate any ethical/professional standards but I need to buy as smart as possible as there is not going to be much money left over for mods. Thanks.
