1st a little history:
I have an '06 LLY built June '05, purchased new 9/30/06. 32k miles,w/772 hrs on the clock. I pull a 32' Cedar Creek 5ht whl plus 17' Lund Pro-V total wieght around 16k. Truck handles it great, but not many big hills in n.central Iowa....but we make up for it with 'WIND'. I avg. 11-12 pulling and 18.5 -20 empty, 60-65mph. When buckin' a good breeze the mileage drops to 9.5-11 pulling and 16-19 empty. Not bad.
So...I have a couple ques:
1st...does anyone on here have experiance w/ the Dura-Mileage product sold by Steve Shelley at pwr.-up-diesel. I'm thinking of buying the hand-held programmer version, and was looking for some real life stories.
2nd...can someone send me, or explain to me the air box mod, and what this will accomblish.
3rd....what is the advantage/disadvantage of stepping up in tire size (265) versus staying w/ the 245 standard size tires, other then 'fillin-in' the wheel well space a little more.
Thanks for all reply's......
and its great to have forum's like this one!!

Simple answer: Save your money. Search "Duramileage" and see why.
