:help:
I just got back from a trip and on the way home I felt a light vibration in the rear of the truck. It seemed to be intermitent and so I did not think much of it. This all was on Friday (20MAY2005). I then got off on the ramp and applied brakes and the vibration was noticeable. I then drove it yesterday and it felt worse. If I was going 20 mph it was there, if I applied brakes, it was there. I did not feel safe driving it. I took it to the dealer and the tech drove it and also felt it was not safe driving it. After @ 2 hours of looking at it they still did not know. Any ideas? It feels like a loose tire but all looks well. It sounds/seems expensive! -:t

Thanks

U-joint in the rear shaft. Make sure they take it out, had a few that I couldnt feel any play, but when I took it apart the joint was locked up.

The front U-joint of the rear shaft was locked up. The rear-rear was okay but I told them to replace. THANKS!

No problem. Pretty common on the CC/LB trucks with the 2 piece shafts.

Fixed now. I also found out it was the carrage (sp?) something or other.
