I just bought a mint stock 1994 Suburban 6.5 with 410 gears.
What RPM are you guys running while you are towing? In 3rd gear(for towing) going 55 I was at 2800..is this normal with 410s?
Also I need help with the best upgrades for more power.

When I haul, I keep it in OD unless I'm in town or in hills. What you want to make sure is that it doesn't continue to shift in and out of OD. When it does that stay in 3rd... I have 3.73s :D

Towing in OD? My RPMs do drop in OD. I called a trany shop and they told me to never tow in OD.

you can tow in OD with our transmissions.
with 4.10s and 265/75/16 tires i normally sit around 23-2400 at 70mph
