I found this product from another users post in the clay bar post. So I decided to buy the product, try it out and give ya'll a review of my findings.

First and foremost you MUST follow the directions about soaking the sponge for about 5 minutes in warm/hot water. It is very course when you first get it and the soaking helps soften it a bit.

So I washed the truck to get it clean and ready for the clay n shine. I started on the lower quarter panels where I had the most tar, and other junk build up to give it the initial test. For the most part it got most of the tar off, and the other contaminents. But if you want to save time and your arm I suggest using 3m adhesive remover to get off as much tar as possible. The diamondite will remove tar but you will work your arm to death trying to get it off.

I went around the whole truck doing the bottom section so that I could save my back from bending over. I just rolled around on a chair and got all of that done.

I then started on the quarter panels, the best advice I can give you and the directions say the same, is to do small areas at a time. Once the stuff starts to dry it is harder to get off than when it is slightly wet. So what I did was soak the sponge do a small area, leaving the sponge damp, and then wipe it off with a cotton towel or diaper cloth to get the bulk of the product off. Then I used a microfiber towel to shine it up. The kit comes with one, but I saved that one to use with the wax. I had some that I got at a chrome shop but they can be had here http://www.heavymetalpolish.com/Products/MicroFiber/ (they also have great aluminum polish too!)

I would recommend soaking the sponge after each section you do just to get out the contaminents that are picked up by the sponge. It gets pretty nasty after a while. Another thing is if you drop it on the ground go clean it, it will pick up dirt off the floor. You can actually hear and feel the paint getting clean while using the sponge. As far as spraying the foam directly on the truck, that doesn't work so well, it's best to spray it directly on the sponge. That way you don't use any more foam than is needed at that time.

Try to be careful around the black texured plastic, but if not that is ok. I used Castrol super clean and it took it right off.

It took off the over spray great and I even had some small spots of surface rust on my roof and it took that off too. I heard it mentioned here before but it did not leave any scratches or swirls in my paint.

The selling point for me was my roof. It gets neglected when I wash my truck and doesn't get much attention. Right now it looks great.

I am guessing after doing my crew cab dually, I don't think I would have quite enough to finish another job. But should be able to do my wifes yukon.

All in all the product gets a good review from me. I have used clay bars on other projects and I don't like the gummy mess it leaves behind. This stuff takes all of the hard scrubing out of the clay job.

The only thing that I didn't like about it was it didn't remove the big spots of tar. But maybe I was expecting too much out of it. It did perform great otherwise.
