I purchased the Xcelerator from PPE. I purchased the regular Xcelerator, not the Hot Xcelerator. The speed limiter is removed.:ro) :ro) :ro) Top speed about 89 mph (gps). I tried all three levels. It woke the truck up. Definately much better. Those starts trying to get across an intersection were pretty delayed. Now, much more lively and responsive. It will be nice to be able to pass someone in a timely manner.

Next will be the 4" exhaust (here kitty, kitty, kitty). PPE is making a template for the 4x4 next week. They are making mine and one other one for a 4x4.

First tow on "tow haul" mode with the 5'er will be next weekend. I'll see how it performs while monitoring the EGT's.

I don't know yet. I am hoping. I'll be taking a trip this weekend towing so I'll check it.

Any update on the MPG?.....

Hi Keg,

No, not a good report on the mileage. Both directions I went coming and going I hit a 40 mph head wind. I only got about 7. Sometimes I could only push it to about 60 mph. Normally, setting the cruise at 75 is not a problem. It worked it pretty hard and I had to constantly monitor the EGT's.

So, my mileage comparison on this trip was shot.
