My fathere in law just bought a 2009 chevy 3500. With the dmax and allison of course. It came with the little 1/2 ton mirrors that are electric. They dont have the turn signal in them though. I'm going to order a set of the tall camper type mirrors that are electric and have the signal light in them. My question is since the mirrors on the truck dont have the signal light and the new ones do, will the signal light work or will I have to have a different harness for it? thanks for the help

They are "Plug and Play" and everything will work. Make sure you get the ones for the 07-09.

Well I finally got to put the mirrors on sunday. Everything worked. New style sucks because you have to take off the door panel. What a pita. O well got er done though.

people at the dealerships that order trucks and equip them MINUS the obvious items that a truck like that should have should be fired. In other words, they should order ALL trucks 2500 and up with the camper mirrors. idiots.

I bought new gm mirrors for his truck from weir chevrolet in red bud, il. I $400 for the set. Factory gm mirrors. I didnt think that was to bad. But I did use my work to get a discount on them.O'well. Got to try to save money when you can. At least I do.

those mirrors are really nice and look great. i had them with me but i guess you live far from my house to own them from me
