I unbolted the 4 bolt flange and removed the tail pipe/muffler for my weekend of racing. The truck seems a lot more responsive, maybe it's just the sound. Boy, I sure get the looks from the diesel truck owners wondering what the heck's in that thing. Anyway I did it to help the EGT, and a little weight savings.

I'd like to get a down turn pipe to bolt to the flange to help keep the bottom of the truck clean. Any ideas?

sweet! So it sounds like u ran with the cat? I tried what u did with a mbrp frontpipe and man does it sound cool! On easy acceleration the turbo is louder than the engine!

_nar_ Built a turndown, ask him about it maybe he can fab one up for you or give you ideas.

i made a 4" side exit pipe that bolts to the 4 bolt flange and exits about 12" in front of the wheel at a 45 deg angle to the side of the truck. i think i'm going to sell it, so let me know if you are interested.

I'm interested, PM me a price. I'm not much of a welder and haven't any pipe to do it with.
