: Anybody put the new 17" Alcoa's on thier NBS truck yet?

Alcoa finally came out with a 17" wheel for the NBS trucks. They call them the classic, but all the adds make them look weird. The holes look smaller and different. I am wondering if it is just the add, I would like to get a set if they look like the standard classic wheel.

Also, where is the best place to buy Alcoa wheels??

Found this photo somewhere, probably lifted it from this site. Anyway, yes they do look a little different, but they still look great! I'd sure like to get a set of them.

That is the picture from thier site. That picture looks computer generated, I am hoping that the wheels look like the 16's not the picture.

The wheels are just Alcoa Hot Shot and they cost about $1200.
The tires are 385-75-16 BFGs

Yeah very nice looking rig!! My problem is that the '08+ trucks sit a little higher. At least the bed rails are higher than my brother '07. I only have about 5" max between my 5er and truck as it is. I would love taller tires, but then I would need to raise my trailer that alread sits 13'3" and is a little front high already. I see new wheels with the girlie tires I already have in my future.

The previous owner took my sims through a drivethru and gave them a beating too. Why swap the wheels on the 08+? I absolutly LOVE the stock chromes that come on those trucks.

If they weren't hub caps I would agree, just not a fan of plastic

16" or 17"? Id take em off your hands for the right price when you swap if they are 16's.

I didn't know they were caps. What a great looking wheel they could make!

Will the caps fit an 01 LLY?

Shitty. The rockstars are around in a 17x6 as well. Have you looked at them? Im not sure what the weight rating is on them though.

Those look awesome. Do they make em in 19.5's?

No they do not make Hot Shots(at least the last time I researched it) in a 19.5. I wish they did because I really like the hot shots I have, just wish they were a bigger rim.

That would be a great advantage, to be able to get your hands through to fill the inners.

Ya man they look great and they fool just about everyone! I've had my truck a year now, and just they other day, my dad was looking at my truck, and said "Boy, those sure are nice wheels they put on these things." I shouldn't have told him they were caps, but he's my dad, so I did. ;)

I had a guy w/ and 06 ask me the same thing. He didn't believe me until I knocked on them! Then I had to tell him they are 17's and won't fit his wheels.
