Please help me if yall can...I have a 93 6.5. I cranked it up to move it around the house.... no problem. i changed the crossover pipe and after that, the truck would not crank. I replaced the lift pump, nothing changed. i checked for pressure coming out of the filter canister and i have a smooth flow coming out of both outlet lines heading towards the IP. i cracked a line and turned it over, nothing came out. i took the line off number 1 and turned it over and nothing came out. so my guestimate is that the IP quit. what i dont understand is that it was working fine until now... the only thing is that sometimes in the morning it would take pumping the pedal and holding it to the floor. then it would still take a minute or so to get it to go. never any sputtering or anything. the only odd thing is that I could never get past 4000 rpms. Sound like the IP in my opinion, but please, any sugg. or opinions are welcome. and does anyone know where to get an IP thats mechanical for a halfway decent price.

So are you saying the truck won't even turn over? If you did nothing but change the x-over it will still turn over unless you somehow disturbed a wire on the starter, did you have sparks flying while installing the pipe?

It spins over no problem, it just doesn't crank. sorry about that.

Could be the shutoff solenoid in the top cover is dragging, that would explain the pedal pumping to get it to start. If you have a fuel shop nearby, I would remove the top cover and take it to them to test/replace the ESO if they determine it to be the problem.
