: Bag it, Or not?

I've got an almost new set of Airlift bags I took off my 05 2500HD before I traded it in on my 07 Classic dually and I'm wondering if there'd be any benefit to putting them on my dually.
My 35' fiver sits on it fine with no real need for any lift. If they might improve the ride or stability without making it ride rougher, I'd just as soon put them on the truck as to sell them at a giveaway price. But I don't want to put them on if it's going to deteriorate the ride comfort.
What do you dually guys with bags on your trucks think? Will there be any benefits other than just lift capabilities, or should I not bother?

I'd say do it. It will probably help stabilize the ride some.

I don't think that kit will fit a dually. Pretty sure there are different kits for each model. Double check to be sure.

I put bags on mine a few years ago and did it mainly for the unloaded ride. It will improve the ride when you are not towing. It also keeps the rear from banging on the overload springs on large bumps.
I say do it....

Some guys remove the overload springs and install bags.

I've ridden in trucks that have air bags and I think they ride worse with them then without. Personaly I say don't bother. it would be one thing if it was a complete air ride setup, now that would be sweet. Just my .02

I have air bags and if you don't need them for the trailer then save the time and effort and don't install them.

The only time I use mine is when I have the trailer attached.

Best way to improve the ride of a dually unloaded is to lower the air pressure in the tires.
