I have an 04 chevy silverado and have some questions.... My buddy has an 05' denali w/ bose and is giving me his radio. I do not have the bose setup, but will his radio work? Will the quality be better? Also, can I use the stock steering wheel controls in my truck with an aftermarket radio? Please email me direct... Todd@ToddJurek.com

I can't speak for the Denali stuff, but a buddy told me that PAC sells a module that will plug right into the existing wiring that will allow your steering wheel controls to work. Sorry I don't know there web address...but I am sure someone will chime in and help. Good luck

likely not without major reprogrtamming, the bose head unit assumes there are bose amplifiers at each speaker and sends a signal to each one independantly, it monitors sound quality and "clipping" --- when the distortion kicks up, it basicly "defuels" the speaker thats not producing well. Ive tried the other way - that is swap bose speakers out and replace with better ones and the factory head unit had a fit. Hope itworks for you though...
