Does any one know if there is a way to get a predator made for a 2003 to work on a 2002 truck? I sell cars at a Chevy Dealership and inherited a predator from a used 2003 D-max that came in. I would really like to use it on my 2002 LB7 but it seems that it is year specific which is weird cuz it is the same motor.. Thanks for any info..

It's vin locked - you have to get it reset

Make sure you download the stock tune back into the 2003 truck before you turn the Predator back to Diablo for clearing. If you don't do this, Diablo will send it back with no success. However you can use the Predator on the 2002 as a scanner and code clearer. The same Predator is used for all LB7 engines, 2001 to 2004.
