I have the SCIII and have ordered the TTS XTREMEhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif . I guess my hot juice will be on sale. During the week i pull a trailer and on the weekends i want to play. I don't won't to have to go through slow shifts to eventually get to firmer shifts. I am ready to order the copilot but is there anything else i should include, maybe parts from the SCIV.

Thanks, Jason.

I would suggest you contact MIKE L. here on the board...........many SUNCOAST owners, myself included are adding the CO-Pilot........

PM him or give hime a call at 310-674-4400, he is the owner of Inglewood Transmissions in CA and will help you as he does everybody here.

The Copilot will work well with Suncoast. Have you installed the SC 3 yet? Call me for some tips.

I recently added the CoPilot to the Suncoast Stage III. It works terrific. Around town it has excellent driving characteristics (as it did pre-CoPilot).

When you get on it, those lazy 2-3 and 4-5 shifts are gone. Put it in tow/haul and set the CoPilot to drag race mode, and it snaps off the shifts like a demon. Had Socaldeiseltech onboard yesterday and broke both rears loose on the 2-3, and 3-4 shifts, and that was just in the 120 setting.

You can install the CoPilot by itself without dropping the tranny, but I took Mike L.'s recommendation and had him put in the ATS pump upgrade kit (garage door spring). It adds holding power, and mine hasn't blinked yet, even through a 12.1 pass at the track.

Does suncoast offer a comparable pump upgrade kit? aka spring?

If I went to them personally at their shop would they have any objections to using a part of someone else's kit?

Would they not honor their warranty because of it?

I guess Smoop could answer these ????'s

What is it about a spring that one manufacturer would add that another decides not to? reliability issues maybe?

Kinda like why the DMAX doesn't come with 500h.p.? so it will last longer...
