I'm thinking about buying an LB7 with 127,000 miles on it. What should i check for and ask about? thanks

Most importantly find out when or if the injectors have been replaced. You should be able to find pages on this topic, just search away.

Look at getting an 03. THis year they did not put cats or EGR's on these trucks.

Definalty check the balance rates on the injectors. Make sure your not buying somone elses junk. You can check them with a Tech 2, Predator box, EFI Live, I think PPE boxes can check them too. When you read them they need to be within +4 to -4.

With the truck being that old, you might want to check the front end parts. Idler, pitman, tie rods, ball joints.

Not corrrect. CAT and EGR's depends on whether it's a cali emissions or fed emissions. Some LB7's have them, some don't.

Check the T-case for signs of pump rub!!!!!!
