Sorry guys if this already has a thread somewhere else...
Well... as much as I love the truck, I am not that impressed with the headlights. I live out in the country so its nice to be able to see as far down the road as possible. I know they make a kit for the 2001-2002 Chevy HD's but I have not seen a DOT approved HID kit for the "cat eyes" on the 2003 and up Chevy HD's... If I dont find a kit soon, I am tempted to use one of those really nice (but appearently not DOT approved) Philips kits that fits into the stock headlight assembly. Is it really that bad to use those aftermarket HID kits?
