I've ordered some of the 16" KMC rockstars for my 3500 DRW/4x4. My tires are about 1/8 from touching when empty (245/75/16) using the stock steel rims. I'm now looking at a set of like 1/4 to 5/16" spacers on ebay. I believe the KMC rims are 6" wide vs. stock at 6.5 inches wide.
1) are you tires further apart with the 6" rims?
2) is there enough stud left for a 1/4 or 5/16 spacer considering the rims are aluminum vs. thin steel?
My rims won't be in till next week so I cannot measure myself right now.

I am getting ready to slap the same wheels on mine, black of course. I am about 1/4in from touch towing 18k, I run a 235/75-16 all the way around. I would say you might want to get some spacers with studs installed. You can always deal with having 1/2" - 3/4" between instead of them rubbing.

I have this wheels on my truck with 285-75-16.
I had to put 2" spaicer that they will not touch.
I am towing 9k with it and have no problem.
The truck look great.
The wheels black and the truck also.

Can you tell us what you have for a spacer Shai? Id like to swap to 245/75 - 16's on rockstars in the spring and could probably figure out what width spacer i would need based on your info. Most of my towing is done off the pin with about 100 lbs tongue weight right now, but im likely to gain some tongue weight soon with a travel trailer and some bed weight with a float coming in a year or so.

They are 2". and I have 1.5" between the tires at 50psi at the back tires.

You will be fine with 1-1/2" spacers but you will have to cut your studs.
If you go with 2" spacer you don't have to cut studs at all.

I personal went with 1-1/2" spacers and trimmed the studs because I didn't want my tire to stick out past the fenders.

The only place to get good spacers are from Fred at www.wheeladapter.com

Would I need to use spacers on the front as well? I should have enough clearance up there I would think.

They will fit however you will need to turn your T-bars up about 4 turns.

will that do anything to the alignment

Turning the keys up a few turn will push your toe angle down if anything. Meaning that you may waller or wear the outside edge of the tire pretty quickly. An alignment is always a good idea after messing with any suspension geometry.
