Coming back to get some parts for my tractor and disc, and kitty corner from the barn, some 18yr girl wheels out heading S as i head E in front of me and doesnt even look at me as im laying on the horn, doing some superbraking and veering SE. Finally sees swerves a bit away before we hit...I heard the glass breaking and saw my center cap go rolling and thought man im going to be furious when i get out and look...tho i was already unhappy as it was. Anyways, after looking it over i coudl find nothing VISUALLY wrong w/it. Minus the center cap being knocked off, beating it up a bit, a slight blue blemish in my rim, and some brush burns on the tire itself i cant find anything wrong.....
I stopped and saw a family friend whose a excellent ford mechanic, and he as well saw nothing visual.
Anyways, got in touch w/my dealer(luckily another good family friend) and said no sweat bring it in first thing.
What are some possiblites that i could might be looking at? Hub assembly, brakes? the axle? the cvjoint? _____????? :help2:

Sidenote- As i got out walkingf back to pic up glass and my center cap im just a m-fin a way and all fired up, she asks me if im mad at her and that if i am i should not be....Wow, she wheels out into thru traffic and its gotta be someone elses fault...Ill cut her a little slack tho, as the corner is a terrible intersection...

I gather that you and someone else had an accident, however you really have no details or facts other than someones glass broke, your center cap went rolling down the road and you have a scuffed wheel. Kind of hard to know what kind of advice to give without knowing what the wheel hit, how hard it hit, if anything else hit besides the wheel.

yea, i realized that the second i clicked pos...ive been trying since then to edit it, but kept saying page cant be found, couldnt reply either...
anyways it was my driver front wheel vs her passenger front corner, the actual corner/curve in her bumper. I dont think we hit anyplace else, i think her bumper hit the cap and busted off then bounce off from the tire...
The glass was from her light in the corner. I couldnt find anything missing on my truck, other than the cap. Afterwards the truck seemed to drive fine, however it did seem like that tire was a makin a bit of noise, maybe broke a belt? or i noticed where i left some rubber from that tire where we must of hit, so maybe it kinda flatspotted or something...? Or maybe its just mind games to...
When we hit i bet i was still 25-30mph? Hard to guess i was going 55-60 and had about 50-75ft to get it stopped or enough room to be able to say wth and oh sh!t to myself outloud...will find out tomorrow i guess...

Have the alignment checked. Might have bent a tie rod slightly but most likely set your toe out of wack and will eat your tires quickly.
Also might have bent the wheel.

I agree, alignement, I would say if you are not having the wheel replaced, at least get it put on a balancer to check the tire and the wheel. The alignment will tell if anything was damaged though.

Had it at the dealer first thing, and had it back about 1230...Looked it over and said they found no problems w/it or anything wrong....They dont do alignments onsite, but when i was talkin w/the owner of the dealer(one i talked w/last night) he siad the alignment place siad it was one of the tightest ones they had seen, and that it had to hardly be adjusted...
They did replace a few of the plastic lug nut covers on the center cap, that got stripped, but thats more or less it..
