Looking at buying a truck with a 4" lift.
Dont care for the lift at all so...

How much can i expect to pay to have it removed, and do people buy used lifts? Or are lifts on forever never to be taken off?

you might be able to get someone to come over and take it off for free, sothey can take it home

what kind of lift is it?

Depending on the lift they may have cut off a mount on the front differential.... no worries though because cognito makes a bracket you can put on the diff to mount it "stock"

But like richard cheese said you might get someone who would take it off for you if they got it for free.... otherwise I imagine you would probably pay as much to get it removed as you would to have one installed.

The other option is to try and crank the lift down and downsize the rear lift. Either smaller blocks or lowering shackles would do the trick and you would have a nice ride but your truck would be "leveled" if you like that look. Plus you could fit 33" tires just fine.

Just a thought :D

the other thing to remember is that the wheels that it has with the lift on may no longer fit, so you need to buy new wheels that are not as big or buy new tires and wheels.

Brand is the key, especially for resale sake. I'd definately be interested in it. I'd remove it for you if you were closer........unless you want to travel cross country ;)
