This site rocks I've already pulled my vac pump and added mech boost control. Works great. So what is up with the high idle control what is the purpose of this mod

Rafedial1 09-09-2009, 07:47 PM Glad to hear the truck is running good. The high idle is for faster engine warm up times in the winter, or while running high amp draw accessories. A member here, WhiteK2500 has a writeup about how to do this. Great mod for the 6.5L trucks. Also...fill out your signature with your truck info and maybe post a pic of the truck in your garage. Jake 09-09-2009, 08:06 PM The high idle mod also helps in warm weather to run the A/C and get things cool quickly. It was originally intended for use with a power take off unit (PTO).
